Electronics is the study, application and control of the scientific phenomena concerned with the flow of electrical current. The third area where electronics are used is for consumer products, e.g., music compact disc players, televisions, radios, video games, VCRs, personal computers, electronic ovens etc.
The fourth category comprises of electronic components such as integrated circuits, microprocessors, transistors, relays, microchip television picture tubes, amplifiers etc.
The vast application of electronics and the rapid advancements in the field of telecommunications makes the study of electronic engineering / electronic and telecommunication engineering a coveted option.
